The coast makes a difference. We consider the season, the atmosphere outside the hotel and what you want to explore. We then recommend the location and length of stay rather than treating every resort as interchangeable.

Three nights in Dubai followed by eight nights in Mauritius. Dubai brings restaurants, architecture and desert experiences before the journey settles into a slower island rhythm. We will choose the Mauritius coast to suit your dates and preferred resort style.
Where to stay
Mauritius is compact enough to explore, but each side has its own character. These distinctions are a useful starting point, with the final choice guided by the month and hotel.
Livelier and more connected. A good fit if you enjoy having restaurants, shops and evening life within reach, with boat trips to the northern islands.
Long beaches and wide lagoons. Known for elegant resorts, golf and a quieter setting, with a cooling breeze through much of the year.
Sunsets and dramatic scenery. Le Morne, Black River Gorges and a more active side of the island sit naturally alongside beach time.

Mauritius is a year-round destination, with a warmer summer from November to April and a cooler winter from May to October. Rain, wind and temperature can vary by coast, so we will match the region to your dates and priorities.
The north suits travellers wanting restaurants and a livelier atmosphere; the east is known for long beaches and wide lagoons; the west and southwest offer sunsets, Le Morne and easy access to dramatic landscapes. The best hotel still depends on the season and your preferences.
Yes. Dubai and Mauritius make an effective twin-centre holiday, combining a short city stay with a longer Indian Ocean beach holiday. Flights, transfers, hotels and durations can be arranged as one journey.
Yes. Two hotels can work well when the holiday is long enough and each coast adds something distinct. We will only recommend splitting the stay when the extra move genuinely improves the journey.
