Arrival in Negombo
Meet your private driver-guide at Colombo airport and make the short transfer to Negombo. The rest of the day is deliberately easy after your flight.
The essential island, privately guided
A rewarding first look at Sri Lanka, connecting its ancient rock fortress, village life, elephants, sacred Kandy, the hill-country railway and the old lanes of Galle.
Our specialist view
“This is a compact itinerary, so I would recommend it when time is limited or as the cultural beginning of a longer beach holiday. I would always tailor the hotel level and onward coast to suit you.”
